Enghouse Trio Enterprise

As an Enghouse Interactive partner, we offer Trio: installation, connection to your PBX, training and support.
About Enghouse Trio
The switchboard operator sees the whole organisation
Trio Enterprise is built for switchboard operators and agents. Incoming calls, queues, presence, calendars and skills appear in one view, so the operator can see at once who is available and put the call through to the right person first time. Switchboard operators and customer service can help each other in the same tool when things get busy.
Trio originally comes from the Swedish company Trio Enterprise AB, which changed its name to Enghouse Interactive in 2013. Trio takes presence from Microsoft Teams, and the clients are available as Teams apps. The latest version is Trio Enterprise 11.
We are an Enghouse Interactive partner, and Trio is part of our offering for switchboards and attendant consoles.

How we help you
What we do with Enghouse Trio
Assessment
Switchboard operators, queues and groups, and which interfaces your PBX offers for diversion status and line status.
Connection to the PBX
Calls usually go over SIP, and diversion status and line status through the PBX’s own interfaces. We connect everything and test it.
Directory and calendar
The directory is synchronised from Active Directory, and the calendar in Exchange Online sets diversion status automatically.
Teams
Teams presence in Trio and the Trio apps in Teams, with app registration in Entra ID.
Training
Switchboard operators, agents and administrators, based on how you work.
Support and support contracts
Changes, upgrades and support, with Enghouse behind us.

Common questions
Frequently asked questions about Enghouse Trio
Does Trio work with Microsoft Teams?
Yes. Presence comes from Teams, and Trio is available as Teams apps, both for staff who manage their own diversion status and for agents who take calls.
Do we have to replace our PBX?
No. According to Enghouse, Trio can be connected to most platforms and can move with you if you change PBX later. Diversion status and line status need support in your particular PBX, so we check this in the assessment.
How does the calendar integration work?
Staff book meetings as usual. Trio diverts their phone and cancels the diversion according to the calendar, and the switchboard operator can see when the person is back.
Can callers manage without a switchboard operator?
Yes. Trio Auto Attendant is a speech-enabled auto attendant that works around the clock, and spoken diversion messages offer the caller voicemail, a mobile number or another answering point.
Can Trio run in the cloud?
Yes. We can run Trio as a private cloud hosted in Sweden, and for smaller organisations in a simpler, shared form. It can also be installed in your own environment, preferably virtualised.
Can the switchboard operator work from home?
Yes. The web client has a built-in softphone and needs no installation.
